On Friday, September 9 the Thurston County Chamber and the Olympia Yacht Club will host over 250 active duty military men and women at Island Home, a private island owned by the Olympia Yacht Club.
Checking in at the Olympia Yacht Club, attendees receive their transportation assignments and then head out to the island for a day of fun and games as well as a traditional salmon bake, provided by Lucky Eagle Casino & Resort & The Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis. Each civilian registration ($75) includes the sponsorship of two military guests to attend that are selected by military branch Public Affairs Officers.
