Evergreen wraps up its Winter 2021 Evergreen Art Lecture Series with Simone Nicole Savannah on February 24th, 2021. Simone Nicole Savannah: the author of Uses of My Body (Barrow Street 2020) and Like Kansas (Big Lucks 2018). She earned her M.Ed and B.A. from Ohio University. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Kansas, developing her interests in sexuality, modern and contemporary women’s poetry, African American women’s literature, and Black Feminist Criticism. She was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.
