This class will address key planning issues and explore revocable living trusts versus will-based plans, tax planning specific to Washington residents, community property agreements as an estate planning tool, avoiding probate with transfer on death and beneficiary designations, and Washington’s Super Will Statute.

Estate planning can be difficult and hard to talk about. This class is one in a three part series that will navigate the various estate planning and elder care planning subjects and break down the process. Experts in the field will lead discussions on topics such as the basics of estate planning, wills vs. trusts, the emotional side of estate planning, how to have difficult conversations for end of life care, and how to plan for long term or nursing home care. Classes can be taken individually or the whole series can be taken at a discounted price.
