Documenting Ourselves: An oral history workshop

This interactive workshop is for community members interested in learning an oral history process and tools for documenting their family or community history. We’ll practice our listening skills, consider how to spark memories, and make a meaningful connection through interviews, learn recording techniques and technology, and explore ethical considerations of documenting other peoples’ stories. Participants leave with skills and confidence to carry out an oral history interview with a loved one.
