Join us for Coyote & Crow in a Longhouse, a unique tabletop gaming and community event that blends Indigenous Futurism, storytelling, and sustainability with the climate.
Coyote and Crow is a collaborative storytelling game for all, where you play a character in an alternate world. We’ll have the author and game designer Kenna Alexander joining us with copies of their yet-to-be-released book!
This is an all-ages event, with tables designated for youth and older audiences to be able to explore topics of climate justice at different comfort levels. We will have an additional table specifically for kids and family that want to play or enjoy coloring and other activities.
The evening will have three parts:
1. World Exploration – Step into the Coyote & Crow world Makasing, and learn about real-life Solarpunk and sustainable counterparts. And where/how indigenous communities and people around the world are fighting climate change.
2. Find your Hero – A workshop to create your own climate-justice hero and learn the basics of character design.
3. Actual Play – Get to learn how to play and enjoy the game with others!
An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until March 15, 2026
