Candlelight Vigil in remembrance of those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence

SafePlace is hosting a candlelight vigil in remembrance of those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence. In the last twelve months the frequency and severity of domestic violence has continued to escalate in our community. SafePlace would like to invite you to join us in remembering those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence in our own community and beyond.
The SafePlace Residential Services Manager will address the community, followed by a moment of silence and lighting of candles. All are welcome to bring items for an alter in remembrance of those who have lost their lives to domestic violence, and may include written messages as well. An information table with resources and educational materials will be available.
