Register to attend the 2021 Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County Youth of the Year Virtual Celebration and reception Friday, January 29, at 7 pm — a night honoring some of the most inspiring Club teens in Thurston county. Highlighting the evening are local youth nominees sharing personal stories about how the Club experience shaped their journey of personal growth and helped them foster dreams for the future. You will also hear how staff and supporters helped along the way.
The night culminates with one teen named the 2021 Thurston County Youth of the Year. The local awardee advances to the Washington state Youth of the Year and possible regional and national competitions, with scholarships awarded at various levels of advancement. Similarly, an outstanding young person from our state’s military base is name Washington state’s Military Youth of the Year.
