The Providence Swedish Walk with a Doc program is making a few exciting changes this fall to help create an even more welcoming and enjoyable experience for participants.

Beginning in September, the monthly walks will take place on the second Saturday of each month, rather than the fourth weekend. The program is also relocating to Woodland Creek Community Park, a venue that offers several benefits for participants. This park provides improved parking access, benches along the walking route for those who may need a rest, and a quieter environment with fewer sports and recreational activities occurring nearby during the event.

To allow time for participants to become familiar with these changes, there will be no Walk with a Doc event in August.

We look forward to welcoming community members back in September and sharing these improvements with you. Walk with a Doc continues to be a great opportunity to connect with others, learn practical health and wellness tips from local healthcare providers, and enjoy time outdoors in a supportive community environment.

We hope you will join us this fall as we begin this exciting new chapter for Walk with a Doc.

Special thanks to the Providence Foundation for making this partnership with Walk with a Doc possible and helping support the health and wellness of our community.
