Father’s Day is just around the corner. The perfect outdoor, kickoff-to-summer destination for celebrating all the father-figures in your life is the 26th annual Olympic Airshow. Held annually at the Olympia Regional Airport to coincide with the festive weekend, the Airshow is a celebration of history, science, engineering and derring-do.
Single day tickets are $20 online, $25 at the gate and children under six are free. Weekend-long passes are $35 for ages seven and older. Olympic Flight Museum members will receive free admission if they show a valid membership card.
Let Your Imagination Take Flight at the Port of Olympia’s 26th Annual Olympic Airshow
Alex Smith, the Port of Olympia’s executive director, says that the Port is happy to once again sponsor this fan-favorite event. In response to growing attendance, they are providing additional parking with a shuttle service near the Olympic Air Museum to accommodate the thousands of visitors. “We look forward to another fun family event that shares an array of aircraft and flying demonstrations with our community,” she says.
Gates open at 9 a.m. both days with opening ceremonies kicking off at noon. Acrobatic performances begin after the opening ceremonies and continue until approximately 4 p.m. with gates closing each afternoon at 5 p.m.
Guests are reminded to obtain a wristband if they plan to exit and re-enter.
Attention Olympic Airshow Attendees: Updated Parking and Transportation Details:
In a proactive effort to minimize impacts on endangered species in and around Olympia Regional Airport during the 2026 Olympic Airshow on June 20-21, Federal and State Fish and Wildlife agencies have partnered with event organizers, Olympic Flight Museum, Port of Olympia and Intercity Transit to provide environmentally responsible parking options.
2026 Olympic Airshow – Parking & Shuttle Information
Parking Options:
1. Limited On-Site Parking (Carpooling is encouraged)
A limited number of parking spaces will be available along the airport frontage road that runs parallel to Old Highway 99, outside the airport fence. Most of these spaces are designated for accessible/ADA parking. Any remaining unassigned spaces will be available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
2. Free Shuttle Parking (Recommended Option)
Free parking is available at the Washington State Attorney General building, 7141 Cleanwater Drive SW, Tumwater. Complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport is provided by our event partner, Intercity Transit. Link to map.

Every 5 minutes for 2 hours after the event

History Comes Alive when Classic Planes Take to the Air for Tricks, Dogfights and Even Rides
Featured aerobatic demonstrations from the Olympic Flight Museum collection include the P-51D American Beauty, the AH-1 Cobra Gunship helicopter, the L-39 Albatross and the only flying example of a Kaman HH-43 Huskie.
This year’s featured visiting performers include the West Coast Ravens Demonstration Team, a 1943 PBY-5A Catalina Princess of the Stars, TBM Avenger, B-17F Flying Fortress Ye Olde Pub, a Grumman TBM Avenger, Dornier Alpha Jet and the Smoke ‘N Thunder Jet Car.
The PBY Catalina will offer ground tours at the event, and the B-17F Flying Fortress will offer rides. In addition, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources Aviation Division will perform an aerial fire attack demonstration.
This roaring line-up is enhanced by recurring aerobatic favorites Anna Serbinenko Sky Dancing (Sunday only), Ross Granley, Renny Price and Greg Howard. Additional event features include a World War Il encampment with authentic military vehicles and uniformed personnel, a beer garden, food and merchandise vendors and an expanded area for youth activities.
FAQs before you FLY to the Olympic Airshow this Father’s Day Weekend
Because the Olympic Airshow is held at a working airport, FAA safety regulations are required so all bags and carried items are subject to search. There will be no grassy areas for seating so folding chairs are recommended in case the asphalt is hot later in the day. Strollers, child wagons, blankets, wheelchairs, coolers, ice chests (ice will be sold on-site or bring your own), cameras and recording equipment are just fine.
Credentialed service dogs are permitted but no other pets will be allowed. Also leave safely home all guns, knives, Leatherman tools, multi-tools, replica or toy weapons, pepper spray, glass bottles or containers, alcoholic beverages, scooters, roller blades, bicycles or skateboards, tents, awnings, fireworks, transmitters and transceivers.
