Get ready for a weekend of fun for the whole family! Your kids can have a pony ride or hop on the circus train – then do it again! How about sliding down the giant slide once, or maybe 10 times? You won’t have to worry about your pocketbook because at the Lacey Spring Fun Fair, it’s all free! Head to Saint Martin’s University May 16-17, 2026, for a fun weekend that’s high on fun but low on cost!
“Fun Fair has been a springtime tradition for 39 years,” shares Jeannette Sieler, recreation supervisor for Lacey Parks, Culture & Recreation. “It’s the place to have fun, try new things, enjoy some fair food, and more! It’s a great place to connect with the community too!”

Connect With Your Community While Having Fun at Lacey Fair
This isn’t just some big, nameless fair. It’s your community! Interact with the local companies, organizations, and businesses that are your neighbors, too.
Shop and explore offerings from more than 70 vendors. Find cool candles, jewelry, 3D printed items, soaps, honey, specialty foods, even items for your pets! Meet local authors and buy their books! Maybe you’re still looking for a late Mother’s Day gift, Father’s Day, graduation, or just something for yourself. The Lacey Spring Fun Fair is a great place to support small businesses while finding quality items. There is even a vendor that will help you make your own beaded items!
“We encourage attendees to support our vendors as they help make this event free for all!” shares Jeannette.
When it’s time to fill your belly, you can eat local with the incredible lineup of food trucks and vendors. Eating here will support local families! Check out this year’s lineup, including several new places to try:
- Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream
- Taqueria La Esquinta

Free Kids Activities Include Pony Rides at the Lacey Spring Fun Fair
And speaking of the giant slide…which is really fun for all ages…don’t forget all the incredible free things your kids can do at the Lacey Spring Fun Fair.
One of the biggest draws is the pony rides, and they are back this year! Local company Autumn Run Stables is providing the ponies. “They do an amazing job,” notes Jeannette.
There will also be the circus train, swings, and bounce houses, including an inflatable obstacle course!
But that’s not all! Head to the Kids World for even more fun! There will be over 40 booths hosted by local organizations and businesses with free crafts, games, and activities. For example, Insert Coin Olympia will be there with free arcade games. Find them inside the Worthington Center!
“In the Kids World, we have community clubs, organizations, and businesses, including sports, activities, dance, and more for all ages!” Shares Jeannette. “So, if you’re new to the area or just looking for something new, be sure to check them out and get connected!”
And we still aren’t done yet! On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. is the Kids Market, where you can shop items made by kid entrepreneurs. These 5- to 17-year-olds have their own businesses and are ready to tell you about them and sell you their products. “These kids are learning real-life skills as they manage their own business,” shares Jeannette. “Be sure to stop by and shop with them!”
When it’s time for a break for those who may need it, the Sensory Toolhouse is sponsoring a Sensory Recovery Area located inside the Kids World. “You’re invited to step away from the action and reset in a quieter, low-light area with a variety of soothing activities before jumping back into the fair!” shares Jeannette. “We also have noise-cancelling headphones and sensory bags that families can check out for use during the event.”
