Don’t Miss the Easter Bunny Arrival Event at Capital Mall

Be sure to bring the whole family to the Capital Mall on Saturday, March 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Easter Bunny Arrival, proudly sponsored by the Tacoma Rainiers! This free event welcomes the big bunny himself with fun activities and treats. JLO Magic & Entertainment will be doing balloon Twister, cotton candy, airbrush tattoos, and caricatures. Family crafts include coloring pages, a paper Easter Bunny craft and even an Easter Bunny wreath. There will also be giveaways – this is one event you just don’t want to miss!

Then, you can get your family photo with the Easter Bunny on that day, or any other day the mall is open through April 4! Prices start at just $19.95. He is at the mall Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with 15-minute carrot breaks at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. On Sundays, the Easter Bunny is there from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 15-minute carrot break at 3 p.m. Book your Easter Bunny photo timeslot online. You can also wait in line, but reservations mean you don’t have to!

Easter Baskets Made Easy at the Capital Mall

While you’re at the Capital Mall, don’t forget to help out the Easter Bunny by picking up those basket fillers! World Market has all kinds of treats, toys and trinkets that are perfect for tucking into baskets. MiniSo is great for those ever-popular blind boxes and other pop culture fandoms – from Hello Kitty hair ties to Pac-Man socks!  Sub-zero Freeze Dried Candy also fits nicely into those Easter Baskets and, if you have a child who likes a bit of bling, stop by Claire’s for jewelry and other accessories with plenty of rhinestones.

If the weather is rainy for Easter weekend, don’t worry, we have a solution for you! Get tickets to the Capital Mall Cinemark for “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” in theaters April 1. Bring empty Easter Baskets for your kids and you can put their popcorn and candy inside – giving them a memory they won’t soon forget!
