Finding out you are pregnant can be an emotional experience – especially if you are under 21. You might be feeling excited, nervous, or uncertain about what comes next. These feelings are completely normal. This is a big moment in your life, and you don’t have to face it alone.
Our Teen and Young Adult Pregnancy Clinic was created just for you. We provide complete maternity care with a personal touch, designed to support you every step of the way.

What You Can Expect
- Confidential care – Everything you share with us stays private. Family and friends can be involved, but that is completely up to you.
- Expert team – You will meet with family medicine doctors, counselors, medical assistants and nutritionists who are all dedicated to listening and helping you make informed decisions.
- Support beyond medical care – Our program can help you make new friends, learn about newborn care, and prepare for a healthy birth at Providence St. Peter Hospital.
The clinic is open from 2:15 to 4:30 p.m. every other Thursday. Our team of health care providers will meet with you by appointment. Group activities will also allow you to meet friends going through similar changes while learning about pregnancy, labor & delivery and newborn care in a teen- and young adult-centered atmosphere.
After your baby is born, we can continue to be the family doctor for you and your baby. We accept almost all forms of insurance, as well as Medicaid. And, we can help you become established with Maternity Support Services and the Nurse-Family Partnership of Washington if you qualify.
We encourage you to call us early in your pregnancy – the sooner you reach out, the sooner we can help you feel supported and ready for this important journey.
