The North Thurston Education Foundation (NTEF) has a robust scholarship program that provides funds for North Thurston Public Schools’ (NTPS) graduates who will attend post-secondary schools, including vocational or trade schools, colleges or universities. NTEF would like to remind students and families that scholarships are open and that it provides the information and resources necessary for students to complete scholarship applications.
This year, North Thurston Education Foundation will provide 35 scholarships to help graduating seniors from North Thurston Public Schools finance their post-high school education, beginning the year after graduation. Scholarships are available for students pursuing education at community colleges, vocational or technical schools, or four-year colleges and universities. Applicants need to fill out only one application and will be considered for all scholarships for which they qualify. Please check NTEF’s website and look at the list of scholarships offered for more details. While many scholarships are based on financial need, some are merit-based. Awards range from $1,500 to full tuition, with most being one-year grants. A few scholarships are renewable for up to four years with good academic progress.
