Families searching for a middle school where highly-capable students truly thrive are invited to attend the NOVA Middle School Preview Night on Thursday, January 22, at 7 p.m. at the NOVA campus in Olympia.
The middle school years are pivotal. Students are developing not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. NOVA Middle School is intentional about guiding students through this transition, helping them build confidence, resilience, and a genuine love of learning. The school’s model recognizes that highly capable students often need more than “harder work” — they need deeper engagement, meaningful challenge, and educators who understand how advanced learners think.
NOVA is designed specifically for highly capable learners who benefit from accelerated academics, small class sizes, and a learning community that values both intellectual growth and social-emotional development.
Preview Night offers families the opportunity to experience what makes NOVA different firsthand.
During the evening, parents and students will learn how NOVA’s program supports highly capable learners through rigorous coursework, project-based learning, and a teaching approach that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and independence. Faculty and staff will be on hand to discuss curriculum, student support, and how NOVA creates a school culture where students feel known, challenged, and supported.
The event will take place at NOVA Middle School, 2020 22nd Ave. SE, Olympia, WA 98501, beginning at 7 p.m. Families are encouraged to RSVP in advance.
Those who cannot attend but would like more information are encouraged to reach out directly.
