The North Thurston Public Schools Board of Directors is seeking applications and nominations to fill Director District 2. The Board will accept applications and appoint someone to fill the role through the next election in November 2027, at which time the appointee can choose to run for the open seat.
Tim Bullus won the District 2 seat in the November 2025 election, but submitted his resignation to the Board, citing work conflicts that would prevent him from serving. The Board accepted the resignation at its January 13 meeting.
The NTPS Board of Directors is the primary policymaking body for the district. Members are elected to four-year terms and must live in one of five areas called districts.
