The Olympia Yacht Club is soliciting applications for grants up to $2,000 each to be awarded to nonprofit, tax exempt organizations. Preference will be given to projects, activities and events that align with the interests and values of the Club and that are open to wide swaths of the public.
The deadline for submitting applications is February 10, with successful applicants notified by March 15.
This year, the Club will prioritize grants to organizations whose projects are coordinated with OYC led events and activities such as opening day of boating season, Foofaraw, and the December Parade of Lighted Ships. Other activities associated with marine life and the vitality of the waterfront will be considered as well.
