Have you dreamed of owning your own business and being your own boss? Does that dream also include serving up delicious pizzas? If so, Pizza Factory may be looking for you! They want to expand their pizza restaurant into Olympia and are looking for a franchise owner!

“Olympia is a place that truly embodies the small-town, neighborly spirit our brand values,” shares CEO Lisa Roscoe. “There is a vibrant local culture and a strong sense of community, which makes it the perfect place for a Pizza Factory location.”

The Pizza Factory Story

While not a Pacific Northwest company, Pizza Factory has small-town roots. It all started in 1979 in Oakhurst, California. The first franchise began six years later, in 1985, and has spread to Nevada, Idaho, Arizona and Washington. With 100 locations, they are known for their down-to-earth brand. “Staying true to its roots, Pizza Factory continues to bring its signature neighborhood pizzeria experience to new communities across the western U.S.,” shares Roscoe.

A pizza is a pizza, right? Okay, we all know that is definitely not true – we all have our favorite spots to grab a slice, and for many, Pizza Factory is on that list. “The most unique thing about our pizza is that the recipe hasn’t changed in over 40 years!” Roscoe shares. “Our never-frozen, hand-tossed dough, ‘secret recipe’ sauce, and 100% real mozzarella hand-shredded in-store sets us apart from our competitors. We are very proud of our commitment to quality and never compromising on fresh, wholesome ingredients.”

But it’s more than just the pizza – for many, it’s the environment that each Pizza Factory strives for, where inclusivity is paramount. “It’s a neighborhood gathering spot where communities come together,” Roscoe says. “Each location emphasizes a warm, small-town atmosphere that celebrates the locals, from youth sports teams to hometown heroes. It’s this combination of great food and genuine connection that truly sets Pizza Factory apart.”

Part of this dedication to community is their “No Bully Zone” program. Not something you typically see from a restaurant, especially a franchised chain, this program is their way of proving they are serious when it comes to promoting safety and community togetherness.

Started in 2009 by a franchisee, the program supports young people facing bullying. The idea is to foster kindness and inclusion. Inside each Pizza Factory you will find “No Bully Zone” signage, but the movement goes further than that, stretching out into the communities where they have locations.

“We partner with local schools to extend the initiative beyond our walls,” explains Roscoe. “Through the program, we provide schools with tools and activities that promote friendship and respect. One signature element is the ‘Buddy Bench,’ which is placed in playgrounds as a safe spot for students looking for a friend or just needing a place to feel included. We also host assemblies and workshops that encourage kids to connect and embrace inclusivity. “

Pizza Factory Franchise Opportunity in Olympia

“We’re excited to serve our fresh, high-quality pizzas and create a space where families, friends, and neighbors can gather, connect, and make memories together,” shares Roscoe. “Expanding here allows us to continue our mission of serving great food in a welcoming and inclusive environment.”

And, if you are a veteran looking for a new business opportunity, Pizza Factory offers special franchise discounts for those who served. “Veterans bring incredible leadership, discipline, and a strong sense of community, qualities that align perfectly with what it takes to run a successful franchise,” explains Roscoe on why they offer the discount. “By offering a franchise discount, we aim to make it easier for veterans to transition into business ownership and continue serving their communities in a new way. It’s our way of honoring their service while empowering them to build something meaningful for themselves and those around them.”

They are looking for like-minded individuals – who believe in community, kindness and an awesome slice of pizza – to open the first Olympia location. “We’re actively seeking the right partner in Olympia who shares our passion for great food, community, and small-town hospitality,” shares Roscoe. “Our focus is on finding someone who will carry on the Pizza Factory tradition of creating a welcoming neighborhood gathering place to enjoy delicious pizza, while also getting involved in the events and organizations that are important to the community.”
