Community generosity made last year’s Winter Wonders drive a powerful success. In 2024, Community Youth Services (CYS) supporters provided holiday gifts to 400+ youth, young adults, and families and secured 5,000+ warm-clothing items—tangible proof of what’s possible when our region shows up for young people.

Winter Wonders is back, and CYS invites the community to help meet urgent seasonal needs again this year.

From November 1 to December 31, 2025, CYS invites individuals, families, community groups, and workplaces to make a real difference by participating in our Holiday Gift Giving Program and Warm Clothing Drive.

How You Can Help

  • Select an individual or family. Choose a youth, young adult, or family from our wish list and make their season brighter. After selecting, complete a short confirmation form. You can also choose to sponsor a gift bag for a young person at Rosie’s Place Click here.
  • Warm clothing. New or gently used items (highest need: masculine styles, sizes XL–4X) help young people stay safe and dry through the cold, wet months.
  • Financial contributions. Donations ensure CYS can purchase gifts for youth and families not yet matched with a donor.
  • Amazon Wishlist. Ship essentials directly to CYS to support youth and families.
  • Gift cards. Offer choice and dignity for food, clothing, and essentials.
  • Spread the word. Share Winter Wonders with your co-workers, service clubs, family and friends to multiply impact.

“Winter Wonders is community care in action,” said Derek Harris, CEO of Community Youth Services. “Every gift, coat, and card reminds young people that they matter—and that this community stands with them.”

Together, we can surpass last year’s results and ensure more youth and families feel supported, seen, and celebrated this season.
