The City of Lacey (City) Planning Commission invites community members to a public hearing on the 2025 Comprehensive Plan (Comp Plan) Update. The public hearing will take place on Wednesday, October 8, at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
During the public hearing, community members can provide comment on specific topics in the Comp Plan Update, including:
- Revisions to the Land Use (including a new Future Land Use Map), Transportation, Economic Development, Housing, and Utilities Elements of the Comp Plan.
- Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Climate Resiliency Sub-Elements.
- Amendments to development regulations to implement the Comp Plan, including zone consolidations and zoning text amendments.
- Community-identified rezone requests:
- 5500 Martin Way East
- Hoh Street SE
- 8407 Steilacoom Road SE
- 6335 Pacific Avenue SE
- 837 Carpenter Road SE
- 1302 Alder Street SE
- 5000 Mullen Road SE
- 2802 Boat Launch Street SE
- Long Lake Natural Area
