Refueling your car, truck, mower or boat is likely something you don’t think about…until the little indicator light comes on. Instead of rolling into the nearest station, consider heading to one of Olympia’s two Fast Fuel locations. Choosing the correct, high-quality gas or diesel helps enhance your engine’s smooth performance, overall fuel efficiency, longevity and even emissions.

At Fast Fuel, they are family-owned and have 100 years of experience. Their team will help you find the right solution for whatever you drive, from semi-truck to station wagon.

Whatever You Drive, Olympia’s Fast Fuel Will Keep You Rolling

As Director of Cardlock, Allison Dumas is in charge of operations and customer service. She’s been in the industry for more than 25 years and loves being part of a team with similar levels of experience and longevity.

“Fast Fuel offers more types of fuel than a traditional station both E10 and non-ethanol Top Tier regular, midgrade and premium gas; Premium on road and off-road diesel and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid),” shares Dumas. “We have regular speed and high-speed pumps – used for large diesel trucks – available.”

Locally there are two easily accessible Fast Fuel locations. Their downtown station is at 303 Thurston Avenue NE and their second is 501 Lilly Road SE. Both are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Customers can pay with a credit card or sign up for a Fast Fuel card, which saves 10-15 cents each gallon and is billed with biweekly emailed statements.

Gas at Fast Fuel is rated TOP TIER meaning it is developed and overseen to meet high-quality fuel performance standards. They also have air and water pumps on site for topping up your tires or radiator.

From Fleets to Fiats, Commercial Vehicles to Camrys, Fast Fuel Is Your Go-To Refill

Dumas says that approximately 50% of their business is commercial while the other half is individuals fueling their daily driver or hobby cars, boats and even yard equipment.

Similar stations are often exclusively for commercial accounts, but at Fast Fuel they’re open to the public and require no monthly gallon minimums. Their E10 fuel is great for daily driver vehicles and most newer automobiles while non-ethanol gas is good for older cars, boats and lawn equipment, says Dumas. Off-road diesel is intended for farm equipment while standard diesel is exactly like it sounds.

Membership, though not required to access their pumps, includes price discounts, bi-monthly billing, optional card controls such as product or gallon restrictions or time of day restrictions, and access to thousands of CFN (Commercial Fueling Network) stations nationwide and in Canada, all on the same bill.

Enjoying 100 Years of Experience in Fueling and Heating

Fast Fuel is part of the long-running Acme Fuel Co family. Dumas explains that Acme was founded in 1925 as a way for the Springer Mill Company to sell off waste wood products for home heating. The company then expanded into coal and heating oil as those markets grew.

“Tom Allen Sr. worked for Springer Mill, then for Acme Fuel Co,” says Dumas, “and in the early 1940s he purchased Acme from the Mill. It has been in the Allen Family since then. Tom Allen Jr. a Co-Owner and currently enjoying retirement; his son, Christophe Allen, is the President/Co-Owner and very active in the day-to-day aspects of running the business. Fast Fuel continues to be committed to providing the best products and services, while also being good stewards of our community and the environment.”

From the Fast Fuel website you can view current station pricing, apply for an account, pay your bill or read more about the latest products and services. Already have an account? Refer a friend, customer or client and you’ll receive a statement credit once they open an account and purchase 100 gallons of gas or diesel.

You can reach Dumas and the Olympia Fast Fuel team in person from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., at info@fastfuelcard.com or by calling 360.338.0622. You can also follow them on Facebook. The team welcomes ideas and feedback from the community and hopes to celebrate their 100th anniversary with celebratory customer credit giveaways.
