The Timberline High School Theater program is currently showing the production “A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol” for their fall season. “A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol” is a fun, family-friendly show that puts a hilarious twist on a classic.

The show features 60 students from Timberline along with three others including the younger roles in the play. Students are from Timberline’s theater and stagecraft classes, as well as the drama club. Shows began on the weekend of November 15-16 and continue with two more shows on November 22 and 23 at 7 p.m. Details on upcoming showings can be found at the North Thurston School District website.

Timberline theater and stagecraft teacher and the productions director Adam Jones, loves the opportunity to work with students and urges the students to put on the best show possible for the public. “We want people to equate Timberline theater with stellar productions,” Jones stated. “These students have put in a ton of work to make this show the best it can be and they have been wildly successful. I am so proud of all of them. Our leads and understudies, our tech crew, they’re all great kids and hard workers and we would love for people to come see the show.”

Timberline will reset for another feature in the winter. “I have a great set of students and we are already gearing up for our winter musical, ‘We Will Rock You.’ It’s a jukebox musical based entirely on the music of Queen. It’s gonna be fantastic.”
