Kanda adds that many residences near the golf club offer a more serene and remote ambiance with little through traffic.

The area includes a range of prime real estate, including condominium units located off of Cooper Point Road, and at the foot of the Olympia Country and Golf Club course, which may be a huge draw for golf enthusiasts. Kanda says there are also more suburban developments, some of which are rambler-style homes, constructed around the late 1960s or early 1970s. The extravagant waterfront homes located in this neighborhood are in high demand, overlooking Budd Inlet and Mount Rainier, and offering gorgeous views, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Kanda grew up in close proximity to the Olympia Country and Golf Club, and his family have been members of the golf club for many decades. The Olympia Country and Golf Club is home to Terrace on the Green, a dining experience that also provides exceptional vistas of the water, and seasonal menus that highlight seafood, pasta and other handcrafted meals. For the autumnal season, cocktails include the fall spiced mule and the spiced chai espresso martini.
