The Park Side Café

The Park Side Café is offering vegan and allergen-friendly Thanksgiving dinners to-go. Their menu includes holiday dinner menu items include tofu roast with wild rice stuffing; seitan ham; green bean casserole; garlic mashed potatoes; orange glazed carrots; butternut mac and peas; roasted butternut squash with brussels and pecan; brioche rolls; pumpkin cheesecake; Dutch apple pie; chocolate pecan pie; and seasonal cookies. Maybe you don’t mind making side dishes and desserts, but your oven is too small or you just don’t want the hassle of dressing a giant turkey. If so, then South Bay BBQ has your back! They are offering smoked turkeys for the holidays! Order in October and a 16- to 19-pound bird is $95 while any over 20 pounds is $105. They also have half trays of homemade cornbread stuffing and quarts of homemade gravy. Prices of turkeys go up $10 November 1. To place an order, call 360.943.6900. Budd Bay Café is open on Thanksgiving and has a Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet. You will find smoked salmon mousse, roasted turkey, poached salmon, grilled flank steak, pecan sage stuffing, cranberry sauce and more of your holiday favorites. Save room for desserts because there are plenty of them, including cheesecake, pumpkin, apple and pecan pies and assorted pastries and cakes.

Indian Summer Golf & Country Club

Indian Summer Golf & Country Club will be open on Thanksgiving Day 2024, and is serving up their famous holiday buffet! Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly, just like mom’s! They will have carved ham, turkey and beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, roasted root vegetables, deviled eggs, fresh fruit, smoked salmon, an assortment of desserts and more.

Olympia’s and Lacey’s Food Pantries

Visit the Thurston County Food Bank website for information. “At our downtown Olympia Food Pantry and the Lacey Food Pantry distribution happening at Saint Martin’s University Old Main Staircase there is no advance sign-up needed,” shares Allison Zusi, development and communications for The Thurston County Food Bank. “However, families who go to satellite locations must pre-register at that location for Thanksgiving distribution. This info is in the documents available in English and Spanish via the red link buttons [on the Thurston County Food Bank website].”

The Olympia location (220 Thurston Avenue NE, Olympia)  will be open on Monday and Wednesday, and Lacey distribution at Saint Martin’s University (5300 Pacific Avenue, Lacey) will be open on Tuesday, the week of the Thanksgiving holiday. No pre-registration is required for picking up holiday food on those days/times at those locations.
