Forest officials announce seasonal annual campground closures across the Olympic National Forest starting September 3, 2024.
The following are the currently scheduled closing dates:
Dosewallips area
Falls View Campground, Sept. 3, 2024
Seal Rock Campground, Sept. 15, 2024
Duckabush area
Collins Campground currently closed due to the 2620 Road Fire response.
Dungeness area
Dungeness Forks Campground, Sept. 23, 2024
Forks area
Klahowya Campground, Sept. 17, 2024
Hamma Hamma area
Lena Creek Campground, Sept. 10, 2024
Hamma Hamma Campground, Oct. 16, 2024
Lake Cushman Area
Big Creek Campground, Sept. 10, 2024
Quinault area
Campbell Tree Grove Campground, Sept. 16, 2024
Falls Creek Campground and Day Use Area, Oct. 1, 2024
Gatton Creek Campground and Day Use Area, Oct. 1, 2024
Willaby Campground, Day Use Area and boat launch, Oct. 1, 2024

Visitors to the forest should be prepared to handle inclement weather as weather conditions change quickly on the peninsula in late summer and early fall, and especially at higher elevations.
