Thurston County Public Works announces a change in the temporary road closure dates on Waddell Creek Rd SW from 90th Lane SW to 86th Lane SW. The new closure period began on June 14, 2024, and continues until July 26, 2024. This closure is necessary to facilitate the replacement of three culverts beneath the roadway.
Reason for Date Change:
Puget Sound Energy (PSE) was scheduled to begin work on June 3, 2024, to temporarily relocate power lines. However, due to a storm event, PSE crews were unable to start as planned and rescheduled their work, which delayed the start of the road closure to June 14, 2024.
