New Tumwater High School Principal Announced

Tumwater School District is delighted to announce the appointment of Zach Suderman as the new Tumwater High School Principal. With an exemplary record of educational leadership and a passion for student well-being and achievement, Zach brings a wealth of experience and vision to steer the school towards even greater success.  

Suderman holds a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Seattle Pacific University, and a Bachelors in Mathematics from Western Washington University. He boasts a distinguished career in education spanning almost 20 years. He started his teaching career as a Math teacher at Tumwater High School, served his administrative internship at Tumwater High School, and after a short time as an assistant principal in another district, returned to THS as assistant principal in 2021. As an educator and administrator, Zach has consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication to fostering a positive learning environment and empowering students to achieve their fullest potential.

Zach Suderman’s appointment marks a new chapter in the history of Tumwater High School. The school community is eager to embrace his leadership and guidance as they work together to inspire and prepare the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and change-makers.
