The City of Lacey is accepting 2023 Lacey Neighborhood Grant Program (LNGP) applications through Friday, March 31, 2023. The matching-grant program awards up to $2,500 for projects that foster community pride, beautify the city, and expand community-member involvement.

New this year, the LNGP is now available to both formally recognized Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and informal neighborhoods located in the Lacey city limits. Informal neighborhoods are   communities that do not have a formal set of rules and regulations its residents must comply with, or a board of directors.

Qualifying neighborhoods can submit applications in the following project categories:

  • Neighborhood Beautification
  • Safe Neighborhoods and Disaster Preparedness
  • Board Education and Organizational Development
  • Environmental Sustainability and Resiliency
  • Neighborhood Art and Monument Structures
  • National Night Out Community Events
  • Compassion

Interested HOAs and neighborhoods can get more information and apply online on the City of Lacey website. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023.
