Prepare to be entertained with exceptional musicianship and distinctive rich and soulful vocal harmonies when The Brothers Hammond take the stage at a free Music in the Park at Port Plaza concert, Sunday, July 3, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Port of Olympia’s Port Plaza.

Bring your dancing shoes, or sit back and enjoy the creative song arrangements while they deliver upbeat and lively songs from the old school Motown Philly Classic Soul to the new upbeat Funky R&B songs of today and yesterday.

Port of Olympia is proud to collaborate with the Olympia Downtown Alliance (ODA) for the fifteenth year of Music in the Park at Port Plaza, which is part of ODA’s annual Music in the Park summer concert series.

The tiered Port Plaza offers excellent viewing as well as plenty of dance space. Find Port Plaza at 701 Columbia Street NW, just north of Percival Landing and south of the Port’s Marine Terminal along the east side of Budd Inlet in downtown Olympia. Its landmark is the 43-foot viewing tower. Bring your own chair or blanket.

Music in the Park’s award-winning performances began in 1979, featuring local, regional, and national talents. The concert series attracts visitors from Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor, Pierce, and King Counties. ODA accepted the production responsibilities for Music in the Park in 1991.
