The Washington Center is excited to announce our brand new season of music, theater, dance and comedy! This diverse season includes exceptional artistry, laughter and is sure to give you unforgettable moments enjoying live performance together.

“This is our first complete season following the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Jill Barnes, Executive Director. “We have heard from many patrons how much they’ve missed the human connection to the arts, and we’re delighted to enrich the lives of those in our community. We could not be more excited to bring national and international touring artists back to the region.”

You won’t want to miss musical shows like “Legally Blonde, the Musical” and “Women of a Certain Age!” Be sure to make it out for an evening of laughter with Ladies of Laughter and “Friends! A Musical Parody.” We’re bringing back some favorites in The Blind Boys of Alabama with special guest Charlie Musselwhite and Los Lobos. We have some international flair with “Éireann – A Taste of Ireland” and Skerryvore, award-winning folk and rock band hailing from Scotland.

Season Subscriptions (5 or more shows) go on sale today, June 16. Subscribers get the best deal on their tickets as well as getting presale access to future events, discounted companion tickets, and an invitation to our annual season preview event! Pick 8 or more shows for your subscription and you can reserve the same seats for all your shows!

A full list of 22-23 season events is available at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts website.

Thanks to an $8.6 million capital campaign, the Washington Center will undergo comprehensive interior renovations this summer. Starting June 21, the Washington Center Box Office will relocate to the State Theatre (Harlequin Productions) at 202 4the Avenue E. The Box Office can still be reached during this time at 360.753.8586 and boxoffice@washingtoncenter.org. The Washington Center Staff will be onsite at the State Theater to help with subscription purchases throughout the renovation. Once the renovation is completed, the Box Office will move back to the Washington Center and be ready to welcome patrons for the first show of the season in November.

The Washington Center for the Performing Arts is a not-for-profit performance venue with a mission to inspire audiences and artists of all ages through live performances, enriching the vibrancy of our community.
