Olympia Federal Savings is proud to announce Bret Bajema, Hawks Prairie Branch Manager, as Employee of the Quarter.
Bajema was chosen by his peers for this honor because of his leadership, character, impact, and for stepping up time and time again to care for his colleagues, customers and community. A day doesn’t go by without Bajema encouraging those around him, utilizing teachable moments, and making a well-placed joke to lighten the mood.
Every decision Bajema makes is based off his many years of industry experience; demonstrating his calm, patient, and sincere demeanor. During a recent power outage, Bajema kept the branch operational to continue to meet customer needs, despite the circumstances. Bajema is someone who steps up during adversity. For example, when a customer was recently experiencing a medical emergency in the branch, Bajema remained calm and it was his quick thinking and actions that saved the customer’s life.
“Bret embodies all of OlyFed’s values, which is what makes him such an amazing leader,” Lori Drummond, President and CEO said. “Whether it’s unassumingly cleaning up the outside of the branch early in the morning or mentoring new employees for future success in their careers in banking; Bret consistently goes above and beyond, creating time for others and making every effort to ensure they know their valued and their needs are his priority.”
