Henderson Boulevard SE in Tumwater will be closed to all through traffic from Old Highway 99 to 73rd Avenue SE, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, July 20-21, 2021. Access to Henderson Boulevard will be closed at Trails End Drive SE.
The City’s contractor will be grinding and paving Henderson Boulevard SE.
Drivers must use the detour route on Tumwater Boulevard as posted or take alternate routes. Detour signs will be in place along Old Hwy 99 at Tumwater Boulevard SE and Old Hwy 99 and Henderson Boulevard SE; along Tumwater Boulevard SE; 73rd Ave. SE, Trail End Drive, and Tumwater Boulevard SE.
Drivers should expect delays. Please plan your commute or daytime travel accordingly and take alternate routes when possible.
There will be a temporary traffic barricade at the intersection of Trails End Drive SE and Arab Drive SE. Vehicles on Trails End Drive SE will be limited to local traffic only while the detour is in place. To access a residence, drive carefully around the barrier while the detour is in place.
