The Thurston County Chamber Foundation is pleased to announce a partnership with the South Puget Sound Community College Foundation for the Diversity in Business Scholarship.

The Diversity in Business Scholarship will award three scholarships at $2,375 per recipient. The Thurston County Chamber Foundation established the scholarship in 2020 to support academic success for historically underrepresented minority students in Thurston County. Emphasizing inclusion, diversity, and equal treatment, the Diversity in Business Scholarship creates educational opportunities and pathways to a better quality of life within our communities.

Applications will be accepted from April 1 through June 30. Scholarships will be awarded by August 1, 2021. Historically underrepresented minority students, living in Thurston County, attending South Puget Sound Community College (any course of study), who plan to contribute to the Thurston County community in the future are encouraged to apply. General applications can be completed on the SPSCC’s Foundation website. Students are also asked to submit a personal essay describing their previous, current, or future community service in Thurston County. Thank you, WSECU and Great Wolf Lodge, for making the Diversity in Business Scholarship program possible.
