The Evergreen State College Camp Speedy is back this summer and registration is now open.

Camp Speedy offers basketball, soccer and volleyball camps – with the addition to elite camps in each sport. New this year is Strength and Conditioning camps offered for the month of July and August.

Each Camp Speedy is for those 8 to 16 years old and is a full-day, week-long camps ran June through August. Each camp focuses on one sport and includes recreational games and water activities for a balanced and active day.

Camps are run by Evergreen’s head coaches for each sport and current student-athletes. Between the coaches and student-athlete counselors, the campers to coach ratio is about 10:1, affording the opportunity for a lot of individualized attention when practicing skills. Campers will arrive in the morning, work on skills and techniques specific to their sport and in the afternoon, participate in activities that make summer camp fun, including water activities and playing games.

More experienced athletes can sharpen their skills in elite basketball, volleyball and soccer camps for those 11 to 18. Check out the camp details to see specific age for the camp you are interested in. Volleyball elite camp is all day, while basketball and soccer are half days.

New this year is Strength and Conditioning camps offered in July and August for those 14 to 18 years old. Camps are offered in the afternoon and evening. This camp is open to everyone looking to improve their strength, physical conditioning, and general athletic development. No experience in strength training is necessary.
