Using 2020 Duck Dash funds, Lacey Rotary Club recently provided a grant of $3,000 to the Hands on Children’s Museum.

The grant funded 200 Hands On2U Curiosity Kits to the Lacey library. The kits, which contain educational activities for kids, will help the library engage Lacey kids during Covid-19.

“Lacey Rotary is proud to support the Hands On Children’s Museum,” said Lacey Rotary President Kelly Golob. “We are particularly glad to support this innovative project during this incredibly challenging year for local arts and nonprofit organizations.”

The museum staff works with diverse organizations, including schools, libraries, and community groups like Boys & Girls Clubs, Cielo, Family Support Center, and many others to tailor kits.

Lacey Rotary is still accepting grant applications, which can be accessed on the Lacey Rotary website. For more information, please contact Kelly Golob at kellygolob@gmail.com.
