After two months of work, crews are wrapping up construction on the new US 12 roundabout between Rochester and Oakville.
While crews will finalize work activities, the single-lane modern roundabout is open to travelers.
The highway improvement is intended to help reduce the potential and severity of collisions while promoting continuous traffic flow.
When approaching the roundabout
With the new roundabout in place, highway users should keep the following in mind:
- Slow down when approaching a roundabout
- Yield to other travelers in the roundabout
- Do not stop in the roundabout
