During the evening of Sunday June 14, overnight travelers who use southbound US 101 to reach southbound Interstate 5 are encouraged to give themselves extra time.
9:00 p.m. Sunday, June 14 to 5:00 a.m. the following day
- The southbound US 101 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close.
- Travelers will detour via northbound I-5, Port of Olympia/Henderson Boulevard and southbound I-5.
The overnight detour will allow Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews to seal cracks which extends the useful life of the roadway.
