The Thurston County Auditor’s Office will remain closed to the public through at least Friday, May 15. The closure will be reassessed as preparations for implementing physical distancing and other measures as recommended by the CDC are put in place.

“Before we open, we’re taking precautions to protect the health of both our staff and the public. Safety is our top priority.” said Mary Hall, Thurston County Auditor.

The office closure will cover candidate filing week, which runs from May 11 to 15. “We will be accepting candidate filings online, through the mail, by drop box and in-person by appointment” Hall said. More information on remote options for candidate filing will be available soon at ThurstonVotes.org.

Remote options are also available for other Auditor’s Office services. Updated information on all service options are posted at ThurstonAuditor.org.
