The Thurston County COVID-19 Community Response Fund is now accepting requests from Thurston County residents who are being severely affected by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 virus.

The fund is available to provide assistance with rent, utilities, child care, and other basic needs. Our partner, the Community Action Council (CAC) of Lewis, Mason & Thurston Counties is accepting phone calls and coordinating resources for people who need this emergency assistance. If you are a resident of Thurston County and need help, please call the CAC Monday – Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at 360-438-1100 or 1-800-878-5235.

The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound and United Way of Thurston County (UWTC) established the Thurston County COVID-19 Response Fund on March 15, 2020, to help those disproportionately impacted individuals and families, as well as specific organizations in our community who are serving those populations.

UWTC and the Community Foundation are accepting donations to the Thurston County COVID-19 Response Fund. Donations can be made online at https://www.unitedway-thurston.org/covid-19

Individual and corporate gifts can also be made in person or by mail at either United Way of Thurston County, located at 3525 7th Ave SW Suite 201, Olympia, WA 98502, or the Community Foundation at 212 Union Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501.
