Submitted by Washington State Department of Transportation

The around-the-clock closure of the Marvin Road (State Route 510) on-ramp to southbound Interstate 5 in Lacey has been rescheduled due to equipment issues.

If the weather cooperates, the busy on-ramp will close to all traffic at 9 p.m. Friday, March 27. The around-the-clock closure will continue until 5 a.m. Monday, March 30.

The closure will allow crews to rebuild the on-ramp in an effort to upgrade the existing overpass into a diverging diamond interchange.

Advance information about this project and other roadwork on state highways is available at the Thurston County construction and travel updates web page.
