The Lacey Pocket Gophers Football Club celebrates its final 2019 match of the season with an exciting sendoff against Bellevue on Saturday, July 20 at North Thurston High School at 5:30 p.m.

The Pocket Gophers have over 100+ neon green t-shirts to shoot out of its Double Barrel Gatling T-shirt gun, courtesy of David Bader at Country Financial.

The Pocket Gophers will also be having a merchandise blow-out sale of its 2019 adult scarfs – every adult scarf will be sold for $5 (normally $35).

Finally, the Pocket Gophers will be raffling off its two 6 foot inflatable soccer balls after the kids come on the field to play with them at halftime.

“The Pocket Gophers are always about having fun first,” said Pocket Gophers Chairman/President Troy Kirby. “And I can’t think of anything more fun than having your kids attempt to stuff a giant inflated soccer ball in your SUV for the drive home.”

The Pocket Gophers continue to play an exciting brand of semi-pro adult men’s soccer, drawing large crowds to their home events since their inception in 2018.

“We showcase a brand of soccer where the atmosphere creates an energy that helps push our players, because our fans are always excited and into the matches,” said Kirby.

The Pocket Gophers have a bounce house, free video game trailer and full concessions on-site for their fans during the match. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
