Thurston County’s Community Planning and Economic Development Department will hold a public information meeting on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to provide the public with information about a consultant literature review report conducted as part of a proposed policy amendment for the Nisqually Subarea Plan asphalt recycling policy (Policy E.5). This is item #11 on the 2018/2019 official comprehensive plan docket.

The literature review conducted by Herrera Environmental Consultants is now available for citizen review at: https://www.thurstoncountywa.gov/planning/Pages/comp-plan-cp11-home.aspx. This literature review was conducted as part of proposed policy change to amend a single policy within the Nisqually Subarea Plan removing language that currently prohibits asphalt recycling within the subarea.
