Did hanging tinsel get your back in knots? Maybe wrapping presents kinked your neck or your hands feel achy after all that baking. The holidays can sometimes take a toll on our body and if you’re not feeling 100 percent, start the new year off right with an appointment with Drs. George and Stefanie Olar at 360 Chiropractic in Lacey. The end of 2018 brought a lot of changes to their office and home (including a new baby!) but their dedication to patient-centered care has not wavered.

After 10 amazing years at their current location, the doctors have purchased their own building just a few blocks down at 5101 Lacey Blvd. SE. “We are so grateful to the Strobel family for 10 great years as their tenants,” says Dr. George. “Our lease was up in November and they have been so nice about us staying here while we finish getting the new building ready.”

“The new facility will help us more efficiently and effectively accomplish our mission to educate on the importance of chiropractic care for a body’s well-being,” shares Dr. Stefanie on why they decided to move spaces. The new space is similar in square footage as their current location, and they will still offer the same amazing services, however, some changes are coming in the future with the layout the new space allows them to offer. Expect fun patient education classes and one on one yoga-based stretches to come! “We will continue to offer chiropractic care, massage therapy, low level laser therapy, stretches and exercise training for stabilization of musculoskeletal conditions and even custom orthotics,” she adds.

Staying Focused on Patient-Centered Care

Choosing a new space was difficult and time consuming, as the doctors had to decide what direction to take their practice in. “We thought of expanding, getting bigger,” says Dr. George. “But we wanted to keep our patients our focus point and we knew we couldn’t do that if we got too big.”

“My father owned a transmission shop and at one time he went up to owning two, after a few years of this he went back down to one because he said, ‘you can’t be 100 percent in two places,’” shares Dr. Stefanie. It was this pearl of wisdom from her father that helped the doctors decide that the move would be more lateral, so they could continue to provide the patient-centered care they are known for.

From day one the friendly staff, including receptionists and their massage therapist, will make you feel comfortable. “The staff here is like an extended family, and that’s how we wanted it,” Says Dr. Stefanie. “We are a family-orientated practice and we plan on keeping it that way, no matter what changes come.”

Having been a patient of theirs for over a year now, after trying several other chiropractors throughout my adult life to try and help my chronic headaches, sharp pains in my back and other discomforts, I can honestly say these doctors truly care for their patients and have a holistic approach to chiropractic work that I hadn’t come across before. From x-rays and cold lasers to physical therapy, massage and supplements, they take both Eastern and Western methods to treat your entire body, allowing you to heal faster and more complete. Once something is out of alignment with our bones, it affects everything from nerves to muscles, so just getting adjusted might not solve the problem Dr. George and Dr. Stefanie know this, and so they may also recommend stretches, diet changes, supplements – whatever the patient needs to feel better, but also to stay feeling better in the future. They are also affordable, with many options including payment plans for those, like me, who do not have insurance.

A New Addition to the 360 Chiropractic Family

On September 4, 2018, the doctors added a new addition to their family, a healthy baby boy named Jackson. They have another son, Noah, who is 12-years-old and loving being a big brother. But moving with a baby is no big deal to these two, when they opened 360 Chiropractic almost 11 years ago, they had baby Noah. The doctors both agree that they couldn’t be doing the move, however, without all the support and help from their staff and those helping with the building project. “I love that our staff asks when we are bringing in the new baby,” shares Dr. Stefanie.

“The City of Lacey has also been so incredibly helpful during the whole process of getting the new building ready for commercial use,” she adds. “Every time I called them on the phone, they were very informative, quick and super nice. We were going into this project blindly, so it was greatly appreciated that there were friendly people to walk us through it.”

“We are so glad to be in the City of Lacey,” adds Dr. George. “We knew we didn’t want to move out of Lacey.”

It takes a village to move a business, and both Drs. George and Stefanie want to thank the following people who have helped them with this next step in their business: City of Lacey; Chris Aldrich at Hatton Godat Pantier (we had his number on speed dial, he was so helpful!); James Cordero (our right hand man who was there days and nights helping us complete projects and all the finishing work), Buddy Davis (a wonderful friend who has helped make this possible); Quality Parking Lot Services (they waited patiently for us to get all our ducks in a row to get the job started); Wolfe construction (a wonderful new family owned construction company); Puget Sound Landscaping (they did a fabulous job and worked within our budget); the Strobel Family; Olympia Lacey Church of God (without them we would not have been able to open this space, they truly have been a blessing); Matt Cohen (for his help with demo and precision framework); Robert P. (for his big muscles); Blaine R. (thanks for your time); Peggy and Vic Victorino (for lending us their equipment); Joan and Steve Daubert (thanks for the beautiful artwork and time you shared); John and Susan Olar (for your belief in us); Kristina (thank you for your kind words) and Walt Cox (for his great wisdom, guidance, and thoughtfulness we are beyond grateful)).

They plan on moving into the new space early 2019 and will have an open house with an 11-year anniversary party inviting the public to see the new space and learn what 360 Chiropractic is all about.
