The Olympia Farmers Market hours are limited during the winter months, but the change of season still means fresh and local winter produce, dairy, meat and fish and wonderful handcrafted items from some of your favorite local artisans.

Baked goods are available from San Francisco Street Bakery, Wagner’s Marketplace Bakery, Blue Heron Bakery, and Left Bank Pastry, while craft vendors include Silent Goddess Jewelry, Judi Colwell Art, Wood Loved by Larry and Pieces to Peaces, among many others.

Specialty foods include offerings from OlyKraut, Mel O’Soup and Crossed Paws Bakery for your furry friends. Enjoy a meal from Curry in a Hurry, Hey Day Café, Our Farmers Table, Bavarian Wurst or Paella Pro (NEW to the market this month!). The Market still has fresh produce available during the winter months from farms including Kirsop Farm, Stoney Plains Organic Farm, Rising River Farm, and Calliope Farm.

In addition, dairy is provided by two vendors, Rosecrest Farm and Tunaworth Creamery, and fruit from Sullivan’s Homestead and The Fresh Approach. And smoked meat and seafood is available from Chehalis Valley Farm, Stewart’s Meats, Sound Fresh Shellfish, Sea Blossom Seafood, and Johnson’s Smokehouse.

Beginning Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. January, February, and March the Market will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

We know its cold out there, so when you arrive at The Olympia Farmers Market, stop by the office and we’ll give you a drink token. Take that token to Heyday Cafe, Our Table (Our Farmers Table), Curry in a Hurry or Madeline’s Bavarian Wurst and you’ll receive hot tea, coffee, hot chocolate or chai for FREE. We’ll see you at the Market!

ABOUT THE OLYMPIA FARMERS MARKET: In operation since 1975, the Olympia Farmers Market is home to over 80 vendors from around South Puget Sound. In the 152 days of our market season, we see approximately 400,000 visitors.

We have a dedicated staff, comprised of two managers and a committed Board of Directors. Our mission is to promote and encourage the development of local, small-scale agriculture and ensure a dynamic market balance for small, local growers and others to make available their products to residents of this community. We are proud to be an active component of the Olympia community for 40 plus years. Centrally located on the waterfront of downtown Olympia, in close proximity to the Hands on Children’s Museum and WET Science Center,  area residents & visitors can enjoy local produce, fresh fruit, artisan crafts, baked goods, meat & dairy, with eight restaurants, all set to daily live music.
