We would especially like to draw attention to the support of Hanson Subaru and Subaru of America for making Meals on Wheels of Thurston and Mason County their hometown charity during The 2018 Share the Love Event. Over the last ten years, Subaru of America and its participating retailers have donated more than $118 million to help those in need. By the end of this, the 11th year, Subaru and its participating retailers will have donated over $140 million to help those in need through the Share the Love Event.

Through the support for funds received through the Share the Love Event Senior Services for South Sound will be able to provide over 120,000 meals to over 2,500 seniors across Mason and Thurston County. During these deliveries we also provide more than a nutrition meal, we also provide nourishing companionship and critical safety checks to our communities’ home bound seniors. Each donation helps programs like ours enable seniors to age with independence and dignity in their own homes., where they want to me. Over the past 10 years, Subaru Share the Love Event has helped deliver nearly 2 million meals to America’s seniors!

There is still time to take part in this important event. Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased from November 15, 2018 through January 2, 2019, to four national charities designated by the purchaser or lessee. Preapproved Hometown Charities (like Senior Services for South Sound) may be selected for donation depending on retailer participation. Certain participating retailers will make an additional donation to the Home Charity selected. Purchasers/lessees must make their charity designations by January 31, 2019. Visit Hanson Subaru and designate Senior Services for South Sound as your Hometown Charity choice when you purchase your new Subaru.
