The City of Tumwater Tree Board will host an Open House to present information gathered to support the development of the City’s Urban Forestry Management Plan.
Help Tumwater’s Tree Board articulate a vision for the preservation and enhancement of our community’s urban forest by attending the Open House. Feedback from residents is an important part of updating the Urban Forestry Management Plan. Review proposed updates to the Plan and provide feedback to City planners—your input will benefit generations in our community for years to come.
This is an informational open house; there will not be a formal presentation.

This information meeting is part of the process to update the City’s comprehensive Urban Forestry Management Plan. Tumwater Tree Board and stakeholders are guiding the development of the Urban Forest Management Plan which includes protocols, outcomes, and implementation actions to maintain and enhance trees, understory, and forests on public and private land. The Plan guides the maintenance, management, and improvement of the urban forest in the City for the benefit of the entire community. Information on the preparation of the Urban Forestry Management Plan is available on the City website.
