Kiwanis Club of Tumwater to host Aaron Spencer August 2

The Kiwanis Club of Tumwater will host Aaron Spencer on Thursday, August 2. The informative educational event will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mills and Mills Funeral Home Conference Center, 5725 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater.

Mr. Spencer is a senior level international management consultant who provides strategic planning, project management, training, and evaluation services to international development organizations worldwide. Recent clients include the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and United National Development Programme.

“We are very proud to host Aaron Spencer,” said Judy Reynolds, Tumwater Kiwanis Past President. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience concerning international relationships, climate adaptation and resilience, local governance, environment, and post-conflict recovery. He has worked directly with international and U.S. federal agencies, such as the U.S State Department, as well as national and local governments. I have known Aaron since the mid 90s, when he was a student at WF West High School in Centralia and State Secretary of Washington State FBLA.”

Currently residing in Kabul, Afghanistan, Aaron will share some personal and professional experiences in that country and other areas of the world. The public is invited to attend his presentation. The presentation will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions and share concerns.
