Thurston County Roadwork: drivers can expect night lane and ramp closures as highway bridge expansion joint work continues in Lacey and Tumwater.

10:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, until 5:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21
- Northbound US 101 approaching Crosby Boulevard will reduce to a single-lane.
- Northbound US 101 exit to Crosby Boulevard will close.
10:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, until 5:00 a.m. Friday, June 22
- Southbound I-5 approaching northbound US 101 will reduce to a single-lane.
- Southbound I-5 exit to 2nd Avenue (#103) will close.
While these closures allow Washington State Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews to conduct expansion joint repairs, a WSDOT project continues in Lacey to replace expansion joints on both directions of I-5 near Martin Way.
Overnight drivers are advised to plan for extra travel time as both directions of I-5 will be reduced to a single lane up to seven nights a week through mid-summer.
