Rob Rice Homes has introduced yet another rambler home to add to the many rambler and downstairs master plans available at the local builder’s community at Steilacoom Ridge in Lacey. The new Hemlock plan was added because the Best of South Sound builder consistently listens to buyers and their overwhelming demand for those hard-to-find ramblers.

Though the first Hemlock built at Steilacoom Ridge quickly sold, another one is currently move-in ready. Here are some of the reasons Melissa N. and her husband chose the first one for their new home.

“We purchased the Hemlock model because we thought that it was priced reasonably and we liked the layout of the home as well as the interior,” explained Melissa. “The Hemlock model allows for a lot of light to come through the windows, making the home bright and enchanting. The design of the home makes one feel as though there is ample space. Yet, at the same time, it has a warm and comfortable feeling. The floor plan definitely meets our needs, since we did not want a two-story home.”

Rob Rice homes are loaded with beautiful features, often considered upgrades with many builders. Those seeking a right-sized home built by this local builder will be excited to learn there is another option for them.

Already a Draw

“The new Hemlock (1856 sq. ft.) rambler has a  floor plan that is in between our Juniper (1732 sq. ft.) and Redwood (1942 sq. ft.) plans,” says Realtor Lucia Arroyo, who represents Rob Rice Homes at Steilacoom Ridge. “With its three bedrooms or two bedrooms and a home office, the Hemlock is just the right size for a lot of buyers.”

Truly, the Hemlock plan has so much of what buyers are looking for today. It has open and bright living with a gorgeous kitchen and rich Beech cabinets that are available in five stains. The kitchen sparkles with stainless steel appliances, slab granite or quartz counters and beautiful hardwood flooring.

The kitchen’s center island opens to the family and dining rooms where light streams through windows making it perfect for warm gatherings of family and friends. There is a luxurious master suite, with a soaking tub in the master bath along with convenient double sinks, backsplash deco tile and a walk-in closet. An abundance of storage makes this the ideal plan for buyers searching for single-story living.

The home has a covered entry as well as a covered backyard patio that overlooks a fully-landscaped and fenced backyard, ideal for entertaining or relaxing with a cool beverage. The Hemlock has two different architectural looks (elevations) to ensure homes look unique along the neighborhood streetscape.

“I strive to offer variety in my neighborhoods so when I help design a new floor plan I always try and provide two different exterior elevations,” says Rob Rice. “This allows for a more creative design in my neighborhoods.”

Best Builder, Great Location

Melissa and her husband bought their home after researching the best homebuilders in the area. They were not disappointed after she and her husband moved into their new home in Lacey, WA.

“We researched the reputation of various builders in this area carefully and extensively,” Melissa said. “We discovered that Rob Rice has an excellent reputation as a builder. Now that we are in the home, we realize that the home is extremely solid and well-built.”

The Steilacoom Ridge community of new homes in Lacey has attracted many homebuyers looking for a superior-built home by the area’s largest local builder. The community is in a convenient location, minutes from I-5 and the Hawks Prairie shopping area and a short commute to Joint Base Fort Lewis McChord (JBLM). Lacey’s regional athletic center is just about a mile down the road.

The beautiful Northwest surroundings are another reason Melissa and her husband decided to move to Lacey.

“We love the Olympia-Lacey area,” she said. “The air is crisp, chilly, and clean. The scenery is spectacular. We decided to just go for it and move to this area.”

Your Hemlock is Ready

Though the first Hemlock has sold, buyers out looking for their right-size rambler need not be discouraged as another Hemlock was recently finished at Steilacoom Ridge.
