The Madison Elementary School PTO is excited to announce the inaugural Madison Mad Dash 5K and Kids Run.

The Madison Elementary PTO provides crucial financial support to teachers and funds fun activities and important enrichment opportunities for all students. The Mad Dash 5K is a great chance for the community to support our core mission and encourage lifelong healthy habits in kids and their families.

We are excited to welcome Jesse Stevick, 10 time winner of the Capital City Marathon and Olympia High School track & field and cross-country coach as the honorary starter for the race.

The Madison Mad Dash 5K and Kids run will be held on Saturday, June 16 at scenic Heritage Park in downtown Olympia. The kids 2.5K will start at 8:30 am with one lap around Capitol Lake, followed by the main event: a 5K run for adults, kids, and families running two laps around the lake. This is a fast, flat course, perfect for beginners and a chance for experienced runners to set a personal record! Kids registration is $20, $25 for teens, and $30 for adults. We are also offering a $10 discount for families of four or more, and for $100 or more you can receive a VIP entry that includes post-race massage, premium drinks and snacks, and other perks!

The Madison Elementary PTO is a crucial partner in the education of Olympia’s children, especially some of our most vulnerable. Please consider registering to run, donating, or becoming a founding sponsor.
