Time to play ball! If you are 6 to 15 years of age, it is time to register to play baseball in the Cal Ripken Black Hills Youth Baseball League (BHYB). BHYB is known throughout the Pacific Northwest as a top quality league with some of the finest fields, facilities, competition and officials in the game. Families from all over Thurston County chose BHYB for their children. Each year we have approximately 350 players and over 110 volunteers.

Most of our games are played at the Regional Athletic Complex (RAC), which is regarded as one of the best outdoor sporting venues in the state. The RAC’s turf field is fun to play on and reduces many of the conflicts associated with rainouts.

We are also excited to announce that the Thurston County Babe Ruth league has joined BHYB, allowing us to offer teams for players who are 13-15 years old, as of April 30, and who attend school in the Olympia, North Thurston or Tumwater School districts.

Please visit the Cal Ripken Black Hills Youth Baseball League website to register and learn about the league.  The parent handbook is posted on our website and has a lot of great information.
